ContributionsThe SBCSA is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization. Like most other charitable organizations, our success depends upon the ongoing support and generosity of its members, volunteers, and contributors. The SBCSA can offer affordable lessons and sailing opportunities only through of the generosity of its members and supporters. Please consider contributing to or joining the SBCSA to help provide sailing access for others.
All or a portion of your donation may qualify as a deduction on your federal income taxes. Contact a tax advisor for details.

Designated Fund at Bay Area Community Foundation
Contributions to our Designated Fund may be made in a few different ways:
- Give Local Bay - Donate on May 3rd and your gift makes a larger impact! Give Local Bay is part of the National Give Local America Event but with a local appeal. Communities across the country will be raising funds for local non-profit organizations. Every donation made in the 24-hour period will be eligible for incentive pool funds, the more the non-profit raises the more incentive money they receive! Hourly prizes are also awarded to non-profits throughout the day. Think of the impact you can make on the entire community if you Give Local!
- For general online contributions, make sure you select Saginaw Bay Community Sailing Association Fund in the designation drop down menu. Bay Foundation
- Send a check payable to the Bay Area Community Foundation with a note indicating that your
contribution is for the Saginaw Bay Community Sailing Association Fund to:

Donations of Boats, Equipment, and Materials
With the prior approval by the SBCSA Board of Directors, the association will accept boats, equipment, or materials. The association may choose to use the donated item or to sell it and apply the funds to other needs. If your donation has been accepted by the Board of Directors, please download this form and include both copies with your donation. One copy will be returned to you as a receipt for your donation.
