Use GoodSearch.com to Raise money for the SBCSA – it doesn’t get any easier than this!

The SBCSA has been added to the list of non-profits supported by GoodSearch.com. For every Internet search done through GoodSearch, the SBCSA is credited with one click. At the end of the year, each organization receives some of the proceeds GoodSearch earns when users click on a sponsored link (those that appear at the top of the page or in the right margin of the search results). The estimated return is about $0.01 per click. It doesn't sound like much but if all our members, families, and friends use GoodSearch, it will add up over the year.

To set up GoodSearch, click on the link provided below, then save the page as a Bookmark or Favorite. This link should automatically select the SBCSA as the non-profit of choice. If not, then type "Saginaw" into the box provided, click on "Verify," and scroll down to "Saginaw Bay Community Sailing." As long as you have cookies enabled in your browser, the SBCSA should remain your selection. There are also links provided on the GoodSearch page that will enable you to add a GoodSearch link to your IE or Firefox toolbars (note: you may need manually select the SBCSA as described above the first time you use the toolbar link).

Kroger Cares

KrogerCares is another easy way to support the SBCSA. Kroger will donate to us 5% of the proceeds used to “reload” gift cards registered to the SBCSA.
To participate:
  • Buy a $5 gift card from Bob Nelb (make checks payable to Bob Nelb as he has fronted the start-up cost), go to any Kroger store courtesy desk to “load” the card with any amount of your choosing (using cash, debit card, or credit card).
  • Use the card to pay for purchases made at any Kroger store, Kroger Pharmacy, or Kroger gas station.
  • Reload the card when necessary.

Every time the combined total amount “reloaded” on the SBCSA gift cards reaches $5,000, Kroger sends us a check for $250! You can still use your Kroger Plus card too!
