What Does This SBCSA Offer?
Sailing Lessons
Intermediate Youth
Minimum of 4 students per session required.
Maximum of 8 students per session.
Requires successful completion of Introduction to Sailing and approval of the Instructor.
Classes
Eight, three-hour classes are given Monday – Thursday over two weeks. Classes may be rescheduled due to inclement weather and strong or no wind.

Course Objectives
- Refine skills learned in Introduction to Sailing, plus
- Using a jib
- Optimizing sail trim
- Optimizing boat trim
- Setting a spinnaker
- Introduction to racing
